There’s a reason this Australian teenager is said to have been approached by clubs from three different codes over the last couple of years. There’ a reason Rugby League Week feature him and his incomprehensible skill.
You’ll travel all over the world and do well to find a man with the same sort of explosive power as Kalyn Ponga. You might not find any field sport athlete with speed endurance anywhere near Ponga’s. The agility, the adventure, the… everything!

He hasn’t even made his National Rugby League debut in Australia yet and everyone’s after him. Everyone knows about him.
Normally a full back, the Australian native has joined the Cowboys and is already impressing for his new team.
He could play any sport and it would be the same result – pure, raw explosion. Pure brilliance.
Expect the union lads to be sniffing around but Ponga’s dream is to make it in the National Rugby League.
