Jean de Villiers dislocates knee during Springboks loss at Millennium Stadium

Jean de Villiers suffered one of the worst injuries we’ve ever seen on a rugby pitch today as the Springboks ended their November series against Wales.

The former Munster man’s leg got caught in the turf and an unsuspecting Wales player then landed on his left leg forcing his knee joint to dislocate.

TV viewers heard the South African’s scream on television as the play was immediately halted and he was given oxygen as he left the pitch.

There is major health warning coming with the GIF below so if you are anyway squeamish then be warned it is fairly tough watching

We hope the South African will be ok and be back in time for the 2015 World Cup.
