Butter fingers
Rule number one when going for the try line is to keep your bloody hands on the ball.
That is especially true when you have done the hard part of making an excellent blockdown and are just metres from touching down.
Unfortunately it’s advice that Billy Vunipola failed to heed this afternoon in Saracens Premiership clash with Northamapton.
The England international somehow manged to make an absolute mess of his handling and knocked it on inches from the line.
The Saracens twitter did try to spare his blushes somewhat with a sympathetic tweet

His day then just got a whole lot worse as injury was added to the insult of earlier in the game

Northampton went on to win the game 25-20
