Adam Jones had a memorable appearance on Rugby Tonight on Monday
The Cardiff prop and former Wales international absolutely annihilated the show's scrummage simulator, known rather menacingly as "The Beast".
Before taking on the six second challenge, the hirsute Welshman also showed the difference in between the old way of doing scrums aka the touch, pause, engage method vs the current crouch, bind, set method. As you can see from the clip, there is a hell of a difference between the amount of power you can generate in the old version compared to the newer one.
After the brief lesson in scrums, Jones then comprehensively slayed "The Beast" by setting a new record. His whopping score saw him overtake the likes of Maggie "The Machine" Alphonsi, Saracens' Billy Vunipola and Phil Dowson of the Northampton Saints on the leaderboard.
