Michael Hayes: remember the name.
The Munster Junior Cup has never looked so beautiful.
Waterford City Rugby Club overcame Muskerry 15-12 on Sunday courtesy of five penalties but it wasn’t all nitty-gritty. Some of it was downright spectacular.
Michael Hayes, who kicked six points for the winning side, gave the crowd an absolute treat with his almost-blinded flick pass to the wing executed to complete perfection.
Hayes takes the ball in a difficult area and manages to offload gloriously behind his back just as a crunching tackle comes crashing into his body.

It was that beautiful that it even had the spectators effin’ and blindin’ in pure joy in the aftermath as the Waterford outfit came up just short of the try line.
