The loss to Japan seems much longer than just three weeks ago for South Africa now after they demolished the USA tonight at the Rugby World Cup by 64-0.
The Springboks look to have secured their place in the knockout stages with the massive win against an American side that had no answer for a ferocious South Africa pack and hat-trick try hero Bryan Habana.
And one incident should send a chill down the spines of any other side that may face the former wolrd champions later on in the tournament.
The South Africans decided that not even referees are safe in their manic hunt for the ball at the breakdown as Pascal Gauzere was caught in a ruck
