Joe Schmidt may yet introduce this to Ireland’s Carton House training sessions

Two-time Super Rugby champions, Waikato Chiefs took part in a bizarre spot of pre-season training this week as they herded sheep around a Hamilton field.

The Chiefs were filmed, on The Crowd Goes Wild, working as a team to herd sheep around a paddock and carry them back to a penned-in fence.

Cork hurler Eoin Cadogan tweeted out a picture of himself farming, at the weekend, and claimed it was helping his training. It would seem the craze has spread.
