Hugh Chalmers’ club, thankfully, say the New Zealander should be back on the rugby field by next weekend

Bordeaux Begles were narrowly defeated 12-9 at the weekend by Johnny Sexton’s Racing Métro. The Irish out-half is currently out of Top 14 action following a series of concussions.

Chalmers was forced out of the match after 44 minutes after he was floored in the process of trying to bring down Racing hooker Dimitri Szarzewski. The openside was able to walk off the pitch unescorted but his club wisely opted to remove him from the fray.
