Joe Schmidt spoke about his Ireland future following his side's win over Scotland.
Ireland rounded out their 2016 Six Nations campaign with 35-25 victors over Scotland at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday evening.
The Ireland coach had said on Friday that any decision, on whether he would continue in the post beyond next year, when his current contract expires, will be taken when the team return from their summer tour of South Africa.
When asked about his future following Ireland's win by RTE, Schmidt reiterated that there were a number of other factors outside rugby that will have some bearing on his decision.
However, Schmidt said it was "an honour" to be involved with the Irish team.
