Harlequins number 8 Nick Easter was lucky to escape without permanent damage to his eye after finding himself on the receiving end of a vile stamp on Thursday night.
Cardiff Blues hooker Matthew Rees was sent off late on for stamping down on Easter's face during the European Challenge Cup game which ended 32-20 in favour of Harlequins.
As a ruck formed, you can clearly see Rees dig his studs into the eye of Easter and force his foot downwards which the referee luckily saw.
A lengthy suspension can also be expected for the act which could have resulted in serious injury.
