Unorthodox grip but we'll leave him off

TJ Reid watch out

Hurling is not an easy sport to master and the top players in the county have incredible hand-eye co-ordination to get everything in perfect harmony to make outrageous points or goal preventing hooks (we’re looking at you JJ Delaney).

Former Cork minor hurler and now better known as a one-time Ireland scrumhalf Tómas O’Leary appeared on BT’s Rugby Tonight show last evening and he brought some hurling magic to the show.

He was joined by Ben Kay and Ugo Moyne and they all had a go at pucking a sliothar through the tyre in studio.

And Kay absolutely nailed it :

Looking at him we reckon he could be a natural successor to Diarmuid ‘Rock’ O’Sullivan
