VIDEO: Dan Carter gets pancaked in final training session before French debut

Dan Carter may be the World Rugby Player of the Year and a World Cup winner but he is in France now and had better get damned used to it. The New Zealander has been named in the Racing 92 squad for the Champions Cup game with Northampton Saints. Ahead of his Racing debut, the €1m-a-season outhalf was taking part in a final training drill and perhaps thought he would get an easy ride. Not so. Tackle shield or not, Carter was not ready for this hit.
