Pucara prop Cipriano Martinez will not play rugby in Argentina for 1,508 weeks and we think that is the least he deserved for this cowardly attack.
Martinez has been banned for 29 years in total following an unprovoked kick to the head of San Albano lock Juan Masi during a match on April 2nd.
Martinez was red carded immediately while Masi was not believed to have been seriously hurt.
Pucara president Eduardo Bernardello told television station TN: “The club have been notified of a sanction of 1,508 weeks, which is equivalent to 29 years, and we agree with it.”
