Ulster name Ruan Pienaar for crunch Euro clash with Scarlets

A great time to get such an important player back

Sean Nolan

A must win match for Ulster.

After defeats to Leicester and Toulon, Ulster simply have to beat Scarlets on Saturday evening at Ravenhill. And the good news for Ulster fans is that they can welcome back the talismanic Ruan Pienaar to the team for the first time this season.

Pienaar injured his knee on international duty for South Aftrica in September so his return to the Ulster starting XV is a huge boost for such an important game. Neil Doak’s side will also be lifted by the return of Dan Tuohy, who has been out since he broke his arm in September.

Add in returning Irish internationals like Tommy Bowe and Robbie Diack from the side that lost narrowly to Munster last week and you have a strong looking Ulster side.
