We bet Joe Schmidt gave him some kicking advice before the match

Skerries RFC won a nail-biter against Banbridge, on Saturday, in Ulster Bank League Division 2A and out-half Conal Keane – brother of former Munster star, Killian Keane – was the match-winner.

Moments after Eddie O’Mahony had scored the equalising try in the right-hand corner, Keane lined up a touchline conversion. The connection was good but his effort looked to be falling short as the revolutions picked up.

Thankfully for Keane, and Skerries, the bounce off the crossbar went favourably and the hero was enveloped.
