Dan Carter and Richie McCaw bowed out of test rugby in style as New Zealand overcame Australia to retain the Rugby World Cup. The New Zealand fly-half was on-hand to score two conversions, four penalties and a drop goal as the All-Blacks, while McCaw signs off as the first captain to lead his country to successive World Cup crowns.
