If nothing else, this Rugby World Cup has certainly improved the players’ social media game.
The Irish squad have a lot of time to fill in between matches at the tournament, and since they’re finely-tuned athletes competing at the highest level, going for a few jars is pretty much out of the question.
Cue creativity.
The players have been forced to make their own fun in their down time in England, which has resulted in some pretty amazing updates on social media. None more so than this one from Tommy Bowe where he is posing with his team-mate Paddy Jackson, both dressed as Marvel Superheroes.
