It took 14 hours of debate, over two days, but CJ Stander has been banned for a week after his red card at the weekend.

Stander was sent off after 22 minutes of Ireland's 26-20 victory over South Africa at Newlands Stadium. While attempting to block a Pat Lambie chip, Stander's swivelling hip connected with the out-half's chin. Lambie was knocked out and stretchered off soon after. https://twitter.com/SportsJOEdotie/status/741658410328985600 After two days of lengthy deliberation, World Rugby delivered the citing commissioner's verdict on Stander.
