Racing winger Teddy Thomas turned down the chance to seal a first-half hat-trick against Munster by passing the ball to teammate Maxime Machenaud after he had already rounded the visitors defence.

The France international opened his account after evading the tackle of Alex Wootton on five minutes before he then snared his second try of the game later in the half when he received a draw and pass from centre Virimi Vakatawa. With Munster reeling from two tries in the opening 20 minutes, Thomas struck again when he cut back in off the right wing to accelerate behind the posts for what looked like a certain third score. https://twitter.com/btsportrugby/status/988066820325232641 However, he turned the chance down and popped the ball to Machenaud for the easiest of scores. Thomas' pass to the France scrum-half highlighted just how easy it has been for the hosts in the first-half in Bordeaux but it won't have been received well by the Munster players. https://twitter.com/simonrug/status/988067077574426626 https://twitter.com/KillianEverard1/status/988066950160048128 https://twitter.com/DarraghCulhane/status/988065168008646658
