What a way to kick off married life

“Excuse me Ms, I asked for peanuts not an erotic dance”

An Air New Zealand flight attendant has received an official warning after being accused of giving All Black Israel Dagg a lap dance during a flight from the US.

According to a source who was on the flight, one off-duty stewardess started abusing the cabin crew after becoming inebriated, while another, who was supposedly just as stocious, gave Dagg a lap dance. “Or at least she was straddling him in his seat.”

The incident occurred ahead of Dagg’s wedding to long-term girlfriend Daisy Aitken on Friday. Aitken is undoubtedly thrilled that her now husband was involved in such a scandal so close to them tying the knot.

The source added that this sort of rowdy behaviour from the staff had been happening more frequently. Apparently, there has been a wave of drunken incidents involving the flight crew, including a staff member allegedly urinating from a balcony of his hotel room. The literal piss taker has since quit his post.

Air New Zealand cabin crew manager Leeanne Langridge spoke out against the boisterous behaviour on the flight. He said that one of his employee’s actions “did not meet our expectations” and confirmed the repercussions for the episode.

The investigation regarding this flight has concluded and one cabin crew member returning to New Zealand as a passenger has received a written warning.

Several of the crew were also temporarily banned from consuming alcohol while travelling on the airline as passengers, according to Langridge.
