Sonny Bill Williams was in good form after learning he was cleared to play for New Zealand against Australia in the first Bledisloe Cup clash of the year.
The All Blacks centre was suspended for the final Test of the Lions Series after his red card for dropping his shoulder on winger Anthony Watson in the Second Test at 'The Cake Tin'. He received a six-week ban but has got the all clear to face Australia.
Perhaps it was confirmation of that news that saw Williams in such good form as he answered questions and engaged with his Twitter followers. He carried out the Q&A whilst undertaking a 30-minute watt bike session:

Williams even suggested his next pro-boxing bout would be on the undercard of Mayweather vs. McGregor in Las Vegas, next month:

Michael Conlan was trying to get on that card himself. We'd gladly have both - it's get our pay-per-view cash.
Williams was asked by former England and Lions centre for his most intense 15-20 minute work-out on the watt bike would be. His response was scarcely credible and there are not many out there that could claim to be able to pull this off.
SBW's 15-20 MINUTE WATT BIKE WORK-OUT
8 x 1 kilometres under 1 minute 15 seconds
10 burpees
45-second break between each set
All told, that should take you 20 minutes and leave you absolutely shattered.
Not a bother to Williams though. The lad is some machine...

It was their 29th title, but the victory may be remembered for a brawl between the two sides, which broke out after 30 minutes. After an attacking maul, five metres out from Campbell’s line, the RBAI scrum-half […]
They can go the whole way! After selecting our Ireland match-day 23 for the 2027 Rugby World Cup, we have gone one step further and picked our full 33-man squad. That seems to be that. Away from Ireland’s Triple Crown-winning exploits on the rugby pitch, there has been the ‘slight’ distraction that is Andy Farrell’s contract. Speculation over his post-World Cup plans ramped up when it was reported that Saracens were looking to bring him back. However, the latest comments from Ireland’s head coach suggest […]
