South African rugby is still coming to terms with their humiliating defeat by Japan.

The Brave Blossoms lit up the opening weekend with their effervescent running rugby, but while neutral fans were having their hearts lifted by Eddie Jones' side, at least one kind soul took time to consider the vanquished Springboks. Or maybe not. Somebody is really determined to rub Bok noses in the dirt, going to the trouble of assembling an extravagant message of condolence, which they left outside the South African embassy in London.
