Talk about your bad nights to dress up as Rihanna.
A Welsh rugby coach's defence for fleeing the scene of a car crash was because he was embarrassed by what he was wearing.
The Daily Mail reported today that Glenn Stroud was returning from a 'Stars in Their Eyes' party in Newport, Wales when he crashed into an oncoming car. Thankfully, no-one was injured in the accident.
Stroud, who coaches rugby at local schools, was said to be twice over the legal drink-drive limit on the night and was believed to have sped away from the scene because of his outfit.
“One of the reasons Stroud didn't stop immediately was because of what he was wearing,” his lawyer told the court.
It didn't stop him being banned from driving for 20 months and hit with a fine either.
