Can Ireland do it again?
Unfortunately for Ireland, there is no Grand Slam, no championship, and no Triple Crown to play for on the last day of this year’s tournament.
However, we have been in this position before.
During the 2011 Six Nations, Ireland had suffered two defeats before welcoming England to Dublin for the last round of the tournament.
England were chasing a Grand Slam that day but Ireland put in a dominating performance to emerge 24-8 victors.
We certainly hope Joe Schmidt’s side can pull off a similar performance to that faithful day six years ago.
