The 2017 Six Nations is upon us and Ireland have a mighty chance of making a championship charge. Joe Schmidt's men have France and England at home and will be hoping to be in the title picture when Eddie Jones brings last year's Grand Slam winners to Dublin on March 18.
Schmidt selected a 40-man squad for the opening fixtures against Scotland and France. 10 players are either uncapped or have one Test appearance to their name.
There are plenty of new faces in the mix and the team Ireland select to face the Scots on February 4 will look very much different from the XV that started the 16-16 draw at the Aviva Stadium in last year's opener.
