Here’s the jersey Connacht will be braving the bitter Siberian weather in.
Connacht have unveiled their new jersey for the 2015/16 European Challenge Cup. This will be the jersey the side will wear on their trip to Siberia, as they face Russian champions RC Yenisei-STM in Krasnoyarsk, a whopping 6,000 kilometres away from Galway.
According to Connacht rugby themselves the jersey is…
“a sleek and dynamic combination of colour and detail inspired by the traditional rugby hooped jerseys of bygone eras.”
“The jersey features flash gradients of purple and navy hoops finished with vibrant green stripe detail.”
“The side/underarm panels and raglan sleeves remain solid navy to highlight the bold and vibrant accents of green featured on the sleeve and collar trims.”
In other words, it’s easy on the eyes.
