Two French locks, one sore back and a partridge in a pear tree
A couple of French players have been cited following this weekend's Six Nations action.
France lock Pascal Papé will meet the tournament's disciplinary committee for a knee to the back of Ireland forward Jamie Heaslip. The Leinster captain limped off soon after Papé was yellow-carded by referee Wayne Barnes.
The IRFU will issue an injury update today and supporters will be hoping Heaslip's back was badly bruised rather than, as reported elsewhere, a case of broken bone(s).
France Women's player Manon André also has a date with the disciplinary panel after she was cited for an alleged contact with the eye of an Irish player.
One hopes the citing commissioner got a proper look at the incident amid the black-outs in Ashbourne last Friday.
