Nigel Owens doesn’t just have a smart mouth when he’s refereeing.
The Welshman is one of the most respected rugby referees around, simply because he talks to players like adults, as well as refereeing the game with more than a healthy dollop of common sense.
The ref is also a well-known champion of LGBT rights and as an openly gay man, has done much to help men and women open up about their sexuality.
He’s a fantastic follow on Twitter, and once again proved his quick wit when he spotted an idiotic ‘fact’ about men and their viewing habits on a day-to-day basis.
Although some of his Twitter followers made a very valid point which he couldn’t disagree with.
