We need your help in finding club rugby’s unsung heroes

They are the lifeblood of clubs across the four provinces of Ireland, and we’d be lost without them.

House of Rugby, in partnership with Bank of Ireland, is looking to celebrate some of club rugby’s unsung heroes, and we need your help.

A groundsman that has been trundling out the pitch markings for decades. The folks that organise the fundraisers or pitch in behind the bar when the clubhouse gets full. The fan that comes through all types of weather conditions and even shows up at training. The player that swears they have retired for good, but shows up with shorts and socks in the car, just in case there’s an injury crisis.

Every club, across Connacht, Leinster, Munster and Ulster, is kept ticking over by the dedicated members, volunteers, fans, players and coaches that show up without fail and truly make it part of their community.

As a proud supporter of rugby in Ireland and in the spirit of Bank of Ireland’s #NeverStopCompeting commitment, House of Rugby URC is looking for the unsung hero at your club by way of giving something back.

We want your nominations, and reasons why, and we’ll get along to your club to kick up a positive fuss!

We have some great prizes on offer, too, so get nominating and you might get a nice wee reward for your troubles too. Prizes on offer include signed rugby goodies (jerseys, balls, team photos) and tickets to games involving your favourite province
