Munster got their first win in four games on Saturday, with an impressive 17-10 result over a high-flying Lions side, leaving them in 11th position in the URC.
With players on Ireland duty, injuries to contend with, and still having to pick up the pieces after head Graham Rowntree's sudden exit, the southern province will be pleased with their efforts.
On the bench was utility back Shane Daly, who replaced fullback Mike Haley at half-time, before finishing off a superb team effort after 42 minutes.
You can watch the try below.
Key to the try was new signing Thaakir Abrahams, who was returning after an injury absence.
The 24-year-old South African, who arrived from Lyon in the summer, showed great pace and a hand-off, before throwing a one-handed assist to Daly.
After scoring the team's opening try as well, interim head coach Ian Costello spoke highly of the winger:
Explore more on these topics:
“He had two massive moments. He scored a try out of nothing with a bouncing ball and have a look at where he came from to get on the end for Shane’s try.
"He came from the left touchline and he covered 50/60 metres coming around, which is a big focus of Mike’s (Prendergast) attack. It was incredible and he is coming back off a long injury.
"When we looked at recruitment. I suppose we looked way back. We wanted something that was a little bit different than what we had and he is so explosive.
"His ability is ridiculous but it’s his character. We did a lot of background work on his character and what you see now is what we were told we would get. He has really added to the group and it’s great to see him back on the pitch."
