Munster have registered three new players in their Champions Cup squad

Rassie Erasmus may be about to give some young players a taste of European action.

Munster have de-registered three players from their Champions Cup squad and included three new faces in their place. Ahead of Saturday's final Champions Cup pool stage game against Racing 92, the province have removed Cathal Sheridan, Cian Bohane and Mike Sherry from their approved squad. Angus Lloyd replaces Sheridan as scrum-half and may get a taste of the action if Erasmus opts to rest either Conor Murray or Duncan Williams. The 19-year-old has lined out for Munster A and Young Munster this season. While Shane Daly impressed for Ireland U20 last year, Nash is seen as an in-form option that will get a chance with the senior squad over the next couple of weeks.   Up front, Sherry will be replaced as hooker by Kevin O'Byrne.
