Turns out Eddie Jones had little reason to be worried about the proximity of Mike Brown's boot to Conor Murray's head.

The England full-back's hack at the ball in a ruck left the Munster man needing stitches but the TMO and referee did not see the need to discipline Brown and the citing commissioner has agreed, leaving Brown free to face Wales in a likely Six Nations decider next weekend. However, there was some potentially fortuitous news for Ireland after Italy prop Martin Castrogiovanni was cited this incident of alleged foul play against Scotland over the weekend, which could rule him out of the Azzurri's clash with Ireland. https://twitter.com/trogerts77/status/703613117780115456
