As Bernard Jackman tells it, Michael Cheika ran Leinster into the ground in each of his pre-seasons with the province.

'With Cheika,' he recalls in The New Breed, 'the pre-seasons were ridiculously hard. They were meant to break you. We used to go to Killiney Hill three times a week and the sessions up there were long, gruelling sessions.' Cheiks is now coaching Australia but, it appears, his training regime has not changed too much. On this occasion, however, the Wallabies coach is backing his barked words up with commendable, blood-pumping deeds. These snaps were captured, this morning, of Cheika taking part in a gruelling pre-World cup work-out. https://twitter.com/MattCarmichael/status/637102984048939008 While 'Cheiks' kept plugging away until the end, this picture suggests his players were not hanging around for him. https://twitter.com/_JustinStevens_/status/637196232289443840
