Finally, we get another chance to use our Matt O'Connor 'pleased with himself' GIF.

The former Leinster coach is back in Australia and has a new job to keep him busy. Queensland Reds have announced the appointment of O'Connor as the team's attack coach, on a three-year deal. Matt O'Connor smug O’Connor will join Reds head coach Richard Graham ahead of their Super Rugby pre-season later this year. The Australian has two decades over coaching experience and, most recently, led Leinster to a Guinness PRO12 title [2014] and Champions Cup semi-final [2015]. Daniel Herbert, Reds' chief commercial officer, said O’Connor was a strong addition to their coaching staff. He commented, 'We considered a number of local and international candidates to find someone who could help us deliver the best rugby program in Australia. 'Matt has a proven track record. He has a history of improving rugby programs with a strong attack-based approach to his coaching. 'We’re looking forward to him making a significant contribution to Queensland Rugby.'
