Leinster were soundly beaten this afternoon by Bordeaux in the Champions Cup final at the Stade Mamés, by a score of 41-19.
The defending champions ran the four-time winners ragged in the first half, building a 35-7 lead in Bilbao.
After the game, head coach Leo Cullen spoke to the media and managed to squeeze in a questionable excuse over the venue.
