The RTÉ Sports Awards take place later this evening and SportsJOE can’t wait.
And, just to tease us a little more, the national broadcaster has been releasing clips of the contenders for the big prize, Sports Person of the Year.
The latest belongs to rugby hero Jonathan Sexton, who is in the running after pulling the strings in Ireland’s Six Nations triumph and last month’s Test victories over Australia and South Africa.
