Ireland are just over a week into their preparations for the Rugby World Cup, but Joe Schmidt must have allowed them an early start today.
Conor Murray, Tommy O’Donnell and Johnny Sexton got some of the prime seats, at 5:15am this morning, to watch The Notorious take on Chad Mendes for the interim UFC featherweight belt. Andrew Trimble, Kieran Marmion and team manager Mick Kearney were more early risers.
Tommy Bowe, who was also watching the action unfold, captured this footage of the boys erupting as McGregor finished Mendes off.
