Warren Gatland is playing a cagey hand against Ireland and resting many of his big guns. The Kiwi has doled out four debuts ahead of the first of his country's World cup warm-up games. 20-year-old Hallam Amos starts at fullback, Tyler Morgan is outside centre while, in the pack, Dominic Day and Ross Moriarty are ready for bows. There is no Sam Warburton, Dan Lydiate, Rhys Webb, Jamie Roberts or George North, who is still not ready to play following his multiple concussions earlier this year.
WALES XV: Hallam Amos; Alex Cuthbert, Tyler Morgan, Scott Williams (c), Eli Walker; James Hook, Mike Phillips; Nicky Smith, Richard Hibbard, Aaron Jarvis; Jake Ball, Dominic Day; Ross Moriarty, Justin Tipuric, Dan Baker.
