Ireland have announced their squad for the Six Nations.
Joe Schmidt named his extended squad for the team’s defence of the Six Nations on Wednesday afternoon.
The three uncapped playees included are all from Connacht – scrumhalf Caolin Blade, centre Tom Farrell and outhalf Jack Carty. There is no place in the squad for Leinster’s Dan Leavy or Ross Byrne
Ireland begin their campaign against England at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday, February 2.
