Limerick man could be back in January

There’s good news coming from the Munster camp today with Keith Earls likely to be back in action for the province at the start of 2015.

The Ireland international has been absent since August after suffering a knee injury when at an international training camp.

He has not played a single minute under Joe Schmidt but if he could prove his fitness he may be in line for a return to the Ireland squad for the Spring.

He’s been added to the Munster squad for the Champions Cup and Anthony Foley could have him as an option for the games against Saracens and Sale that wrap up their group.

Here’s hoping its one less player off the incredible injury list that has beset Ireland over the past two years ahead of the forthcoming Six Nations.
