For the next month, every twinge and strain suffered by our rugby players will be massive news. Here’s your handy guide to who is injured right now.

We’ll update this list as and when new injury news breaks and if someone returns to fitness, we’ll get them off the list.

Our injury list includes Going! [fit to play], Going? [Hoping to feature] and Gone [Ruled out completely].

GOING!

Johnny Sexton: Has been targeted by Wales and France in Ireland’s opening fixtures and was withdrawn in both ties. Joe Schmidt says he is suffering from whiplash-type symptoms, and he sat out a training session in Mullingar, but he should be fit to play England.

Jared Payne: Grade One hamstring tear and will sit out training this week but is hopeful of featuring on February 27.

Simon Zebo: Knee injury ruled him out of France game, and he did not train in Mullingar, but he is in the mix for England.

Keith Earls: Has passed all of his Return To Play protocols after receiving a concussive blow against Wales.

Cian Healy: Had minor knee surgery in early January but returned to play for Leinster against Zebre on February 12.

Mike Ross: The tighthead tore his hamstring in the December loss to Toulon but returned in that same Leinster match with Healy.

Chris Henry: In line to start for Ulster this weekend.

Stuart Olding: The centre scored on his return for Ulster last weekend and will be hoping to feature in the later stages of the tournament.

Sean O’Brien: Came off with an upper hamstring injury against France. Went from being ruled out of the England game to the entire tournament.

Dave Kearney: Dislocated his shoulder after a late Guilhelm Guirado hit. His tournament is now over.

Mike McCarthy: Was removed with concussion against France. Joe Schmidt confirmed on February 19 that his season was over.
