Paul O'Connell has been stretchered off the field in Cardiff.

Ireland's captain went down injured just before half-time, with his team leading France 9-6, with what appears to be a hamstring injury. Understandably, Irish fans were devastated by the loss of Ireland's inspirational leader, particularly as this could potentially be the Munster man's last international appearance. Hopefully not though, get better soon Paulie.Paul O'Connell down injured 11/10/2015 https://twitter.com/arrancauson/status/653249525340053504 https://twitter.com/Careycian/status/653249522928386048 https://twitter.com/colmtobin/status/653248177949306880 https://twitter.com/dannyodwyer/status/653251036967100420 https://twitter.com/lindabtweeting/status/653251174607536128 https://twitter.com/pa_flynn1/status/653251387246125056 O'Connell got a brilliant ovation upon leaving the field. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-UQvD3mBcU
