Not today Luphumlo Mguca. Not today.

Connacht scored five tries to defeat Southern Kings 31-14 in an exciting Guinness PRO14 clash. Andy Friend's side raced into a 10-0 lead after Cian Kelleher's early try, a Jack Carty conversion and a penalty from the outhalf. Masixole Banda scored and converted his own try for the hosts before Connacht wrested back control of the game. Their pack forced a penalty try before Matt Healy scored in the corner to make it 24-7 at the break. Southern Kings, who are struggling in Conference B, got right back into the game with a try from Ntabeni Dukisa that featured a robust piece of defending from Cian Kelleher. Kelleher stood up well to the rampaging, 17-stone (109kgs) Kings prop Mguca but Connacht had no-one ready to take advantage at the breakdown. Dries van Schalkwyk drew in the covering Connacht defenders and slipped in Dukisa for a simple score. Check out the full clip of the tackle, and try, here: Connacht, again, responded well and Paul Boyle's 62nd minute try made it 31-14, sealing the victory and a try-scoring bonus point. Elsewhere in the PRO14, over the weekend, Leinster thrashed Ospreys but Ulster lost on their road-trip to Scarlets.
