Brian O'Driscoll has been in confessional mood in his latest interview with Clare Balding on BT Sport.
The former Irish centre opened up about a number of issues, including his famous 'tomato' quote when he was asked a question about England's Martin Johnson.
O'Driscoll once quipped, 'Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.'
Apparently, if he had not managed to squeeze it into his press chat he would have had to get a back, sack n' crack wax. Instead, it was his centre partner Gordon D'Arcy.
O'Driscoll also confessed to being infatuated by 'so sparkly' David Beckham at the BBC's Sports Personality of the Year awards, back in 2001.
He also goes into the tale of his boxing match with British & Irish Lions teammate Austin Healey on the 2001 tour to Australia.
'The opportunity to give Austin a hiding... it was an easy sell,' he remarked.
The full interview airs at 10pm on Thursday night.
