Pat Lam has announced that Apirana Pewhairangi of the New Zealand Warriors will join the Connacht squad ahead of next season, and the former Irish rugby league international is expected to play as either a centre or a wing.
Pewhairangi is eligible for Ireland as his grandmother was born here and you can find out a bit more about him here.
