Sky Sports' cameras just happened to be trained on one particular imbecile at the perfect moment following Bernard Foley's penalty to level the scores just before half-time.
It was a man in a wig. Turning around, he revealed a message to Irish fans inked across his back. It read: "The Irish? Yer all English 2 me! Pls call 0433704123."

Alan Quinlan won't be ringing the number. No, the former Ireland and Munster back row, on co-commentary duties, delivered the perfect response to the fan's message.
"What that fella needs now is a good slap on the back," Quinlan said.
"A stinger, they call it. Put a bit of manners on him."

Admittedly, the thought of delivering said slap on said fan's inked-up back is particularly satisfying. Who knows, maybe he'll get his comeuppance someday.
