Nerves are setting in.
Tomorrow’s 2027 Rugby World Cup draw will have a big impact on Ireland’s quest to finally reach a quarter-final.
Thankfully, their world ranking of fourth has them in Band 1, alongside South Africa, New Zealand, France, England, and Argentina.
However, their are some tough potential opponents in Band 2 such as Scotland, Australia, Italy, and Wales, who could make life difficult for Andy Farrell’s men.
The draw takes place at 9am, and we have come up with the best and worst possible groups for Ireland.
Best case:
Ireland, Japan, Chile, Zimbabwe.
Worst case:
Ireland, Australia, Georgia, Samoa.
