Of course, the midfielders of that time that jump into your head include superstars like Roy Keane, Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard and the likes, but we're talking about the men who really defined that era. The players who you had three or four Panini stickers of, and you were desperate to trade them, or the ones who were constantly inked to your club on a summer transfer but it never materialised.
