There are head kick KOs and then there are near decapitations.
Scott Askham's victory over Chris Dempsey on the UFC London undercard definitely falls into the latter category.
There was just fifteen seconds remaining in the opening round when the English middleweight had had enough faffing and decided to put his American opponent to sleep.
Dempsey was wobbled by a glancing left straight and Askham didn't need to be asked twice to chase the finish as he let fly with one of the most devastating head kicks you're ever going to see.
It appeared that Dempsey was knocked out on impact but woke up when his head bounced off the mat.
It's nasty!
