Ronda Rousey’s Sports Illustrated photo shoot made headlines earlier this year and now the UFC champion has been discussing her sex symbol status.
In a follow-up interview with Sports Illustrated, Rousey admitted although she enjoyed donning her swimsuit for the cameras, she felt like it was a case of playing pretend.
“It’s more like I was playing that role for a day. I don’t feel like that every day,” she explained.
Rousey also rules out a full-time career in modelling, despite being grateful for the opportunity to try it out on a part time basis.
“I know it’s not as glamorous as easy as it appears from afar, and I love having the opportunity to dabble in it. But I think doing it full time would be pretty difficult.”
It’s clear Rousey’s foreseeable future lies in the ring.
